The Olympians Ball
Today Moscow hosted its annual "Olympians Ball" to celebrate the achievements of Team Russia at the Olympics. And guess who won the category 'Born To Win'?...ALIYA MUSTAQUEENA that's who! The entire team, minus Seda and Angelina, attended the event to get honored. Tut and Melka are in Japan for another pointless competition. Daria didn't go because she needed rest, but if that's Valentina's criteria for missing a competition our other two princesses should've had their day at the ball as well. How much you wanna bet Daria was like 'no way am I passing up a chance to play dress-up with my boo to go to some competition on the far side of the world and fall' lmao. She looked stunning tonight, and I barely recognized her with the stylish updo (it highlights her facial features better than her casual hairstyles, I think). Maria turned out demure and elegant in a draped black dress with crystal detailing below the bust. But it was Aliya who won best dressed for me (even though I have no clue what everyone at the ball wore lol). C'mon, just how flawless can one individual be?

I just realized the whole AG team were matching in blues (well, Paseka wore black but it still fit in the color scheme), and the RG team had themselves a black & white affair. To watch the ball click here. Aliya is at the 6:00 mark and the engagement is captured live at the 27:00 mark. I might go back and look through it in detail later because I think someone asked Aliya something about the Americans (?), but in any case I'm curious to whatever general things she discusses. I did stop to listen to Yana- because of the whole rumor over her retirement- and she reiterated what she said last week, which is that she hasn't made any final decisions and she owes it to her fans to tell them from her own lips when she's truly done with RG. She is on an extended vacation and her short term plans are to study for her drivers license and to enjoy her new personal life with her boyfriend (she didn't add in the part about the boyfriend but he is who she's living with). If anyone finds anything interesting in the video leave a comment below. Or if anyone can find footage of Masha or Nikita that would be great!
The general things she discusses( correct will be the journalist wanted to provocating Aliya) about american athletes and the legal doping for them :/ well and Aliya really showed her Royal behavior...it was fun how idiotic was journalist and how smart answered Musty. She say(she even not thinking about that) that all these "things" are not her business, coz her job is to perform well her routines!:P P.S. it was really big contrast when another man from press asked her a good "question" complimenting her dress and look and how shy she was in a few seconds :)
