Anastasia Grishina Returns!

The heavens rejoice and the earth trembles at the return of Anastasia Grishina to competition. Too much? My favorite most beloved gymnasts is scheduled to compete at the Russian Cup (starting on the 16th) along with another returning face, Nastia Sidorova!

ICYMI: Angelina Melnikova now trains under Gennady Elfimov, Komova's coach. There was a rumor over the winter that he was coaching another prominent national team member after he and Vika had stopped working together. Perhaps he and Melka weren't working together back then, but they've teamed up now! Speaking of Vika, her ankle problems have resurfaced and it's unclear if she's doing AA at this meet. She only competed bars at the Georgia competition, but can be seen training on fx in the latest batch of photos released by RGF, so we'll cross our fingers. Alexander Balandin will miss World's because of complications involving a shoulder surgery and will need the winter to rehab and train for Russian Nationals next year.
