Happy Russian Gymnastics Day!

October 29th is Gymnastics Day in Russia and many former national team members celebrated by returning to their clubs to mentor the next generation of gymnasts. Photos show the main room at CSKA, a gym that's produced many of the most renowned names in gymnastics (and sport in general). You'll recall that Svetlana Khorkina is now the deputy chief of CSKA, and is using her power to promote and enlarge the sport at the foundation levels.  She has a lot of strong opinions on what Russia needs to do to get back to the top of the team podium, so she couldn't have picked a more influential gym to be employed at.
