2015 Worlds Podium Training Hits

I think this is it for Russia. Some of them are packing up, whence they will then go to interviews i think ( I know BBC is having the intl gymnast do this cheesy little high five thing). I would like to post any potential videos but I'm in a weird position on a dining room floor trying to keep connection so I'm going to leave it at this, and hope I've been helpful to you in assembling facebook, twitter info. And lastly, to Steph, thanks so much for the live texts and insider scoop, and I hope you have fun at your first gymnastic Worlds! Stay clear of those bulbs; I hear a second one burst into flame lawd have mercy.
3:30 e.s.t: The girls are going through problem portions of their routine. Just correcting what they missed or fell on.
3:21 e.s.t: Now Komova. good on L turn and front layout still not connected fast enough to sheep jump. Pretty bhs loso. Fall on standing arabian. Redoes the move and falls again. #Vikaface appears. Big wobble on Y turn and good front tuck. Layout dismount. She's doing the routine again.
3:17 e.s.t: My internet is going again. Can I make it? Daria did a 5.9 difficulty beam and was solid. She did show a maximum 6.4 last year but maybe safe and clean is best for Russia on beam right now.
3:14 e.s.t: Seda, everything was ok except the roundoff layout, big step dismount
3:12 e.s.t: Afan was a lil hesitant, but solid and still accurate. The girls are supposed to perform twice but they may let her skip it as she looks tired.
3:10 e.s.t: hahaha Ksenia was mounting with her split and kinda just skidded off like Nastia back in '05. She remounted, good on bhs layout.
3:01 e.s.t: Russia is on to beam. Btw, all the girls went thru routines twice and very well done overall (remembering Dasha's uncharacteristic fall).
3:00 e.s.t: I just read on VK Ksenia Semenova calling Vika's bars the most perfect performance. Awww (and ditto, Ksenia)
2:56 e.s.t: Vika's full performance, no double double dismount...yet (via Ginnastica Artistica)

2:52 e.s.t: Via Tim Daggett
2:49 e.s.t: Okay I'm back. Russia's on bars: solid sets from all the girls, but Spirod falls on the dismount. She performs again and does everything well.
2:45 e.s.t: Everytime I find a vid I will post it. Here's Paseka w/ an amanar.

2:38 e.s.t: Russia is on UB (best event) and my wifi is acting up. Moving to the breakfast lounge. Be back to blogging in 5.
2:31 e.s.t: Just an FYI for anyone who might care, Italy has been extremely solid thru two rotations. I hope in quals Russia can bring their A game without a Big 4 team to push them.
2:30 e.s.t: YASSS Seda saves Russia was a good DTY; powerful according to my friend. Just a slight hop, no biggie.
2:28 e.s.t: Afan's turn now:  only a FTY. The FTY was good though, but she looks unwell according to my friend at the event and another spectator on Twitter. From whiptotriple specifically, we hear that Afan is checking her cheeks a lot, possibly to feel for a fever :(
2:26 e.s.t: Paseks does a cheng but it's not very good (low and form issues). She lands if that counts...
2:25 e.s.t: Great DTY from Paseka!
2:17 e.s.t: Viktoria: "Honestly I was a little nervous because it's been three years and I've suffered so many injuries and illnesses. But in any case, we are going to Glasgow to fight. To surrender and give up is impossible. We will fight, no matter what happens"
2:15 e.s.t: Russia moves to vault
2:12 e.s.t: Afan does another dance thru. Seda had a solid FX and daria Spiridonova was wobbly but didn't fall. Paseka goes clean.
2:08 e.s.t: Shelgy just crashed her dlo. On her knees, hands down too. Looked painful.
2:03 e.s.t: Kharenkova just crashed her double arabian
1:52 e.s.t: Afan does her full set: dlo, whip whip triple, 2 1/2 front layout, dbl pike
1:50 e.s.t: Afan up first; apparently her new music is still horrible. It combines multiple remixed songs. This might just be the music she used at the Cup and fans don't realize that she changed it since Euros. Or it might just be new music as awful as what she used at the Cup...lol, who knows?
1:45 e.s.t: The girls take to the podium, starting on FX
