The Nursery Comes to Round Lake

The popular Russian television show for children, "Good Night Kids," paid our gymnasts at Round Lake a visit today. It is one of the oldest nursery shows in Russia, dating back to Soviet times. The cast and crew were at RL to teach their young viewers about the sport of gymnastics. They got to film how gymnasts warm up, and a few half routines seemed to have been performed for the cameras (I'm sure they did very easy things to preserve their energy). This is so cute/awesome, and what a great way to inspire the next generation to get involved in gym! One of the muppet type characters interviewed Daria Skrypnik, Maria Paseka, and Emin Garibov. I'll be on the lookout for any videos of the broadcast. (I wonder how soon their episodes normally air after its filmed?)
