Video of Soviet Compulsories in 1981-1984

The old school gymnasts weren't perfect in their form- especially on FX- as they lacked the advanced training facilities and 'user-friendly' competition equipment modern gymnasts have today. But they made everything look beautiful, because keeping compulsories a requirement through both junior and senior elite taught gymnasts how to make even a technically faulty skill look aesthetically pleasing.

My favorite parts are 2:41-2:47 and 6:56-7:02. I also gasped when i saw that dismount off the HB! Wasn't expecting that.
